Youth Group gives high school students the opportunity to participate in planning their own social and cultural programs, worship services, and projects of help to the congregation and the community. These activities provide them with leadership training, new horizons, social interaction, and deepened Jewish awareness.

Vassar Temple Youth Group is affiliated with the Central New York region of the National Federation of Temple Youth (CNYFTY). CNYFTY weekends provide the opportunity for our youth to meet with young people from other Reform congregations. Through the Andrea Rabin Scholarship Fund, administered by the Vassar Temple Sisterhood, moneys are made available to assist in this endeavor.
